Last updated: June 30, 2026. This policy applies to everyone who uses Miskari and is part of the Terms of Service.

Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to everyone who uses Miskari, operated by Hyrax LLC d/b/a Miskari. It is part of, and incorporated into, the Terms of Service. We may update it from time to time; the "Last updated" date reflects the current version.

Prohibited conduct

You may not use the service to, or attempt to:

  • Break the law. Use the service for any unlawful purpose, or to store, transmit, or process content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, harassing, or that violates the rights or privacy of others.
  • Compromise security. Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service except through our coordinated disclosure process; breach or circumvent authentication, access controls, rate limits, or tenant isolation; or access data, accounts, or organizations that are not yours.
  • Disrupt the service.Introduce malware, conduct denial-of-service attacks, or otherwise impair the integrity, performance, or availability of the service or other customers' use of it.
  • Abuse automation and the API. Scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract data except through the export features and the documented API within its rate limits; resell or redistribute the service or its data; or use automated means to create accounts or evade limits. API use is also governed by the API Terms.
  • Misuse messaging. Use the notification or communication features to send spam, unsolicited commercial messages, or content that violates anti-spam, telemarketing, or messaging laws.
  • Reverse engineer. Decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits.
  • Misrepresent. Impersonate any person or entity, or upload data you do not have the right to upload.

Third-party portals and automation

The service includes tools that help you prepare and file your own property tax protest, including features that navigate to government appraisal-district portals. You are responsible for using these tools in accordance with the applicable portal's terms and the law, and for reviewing and submitting filings yourself. Do not use the service to automate access to a third-party system in violation of that system's terms.

Your content and accounts

You are responsible for activity under your account and for the content you store. Keep credentials secure and do not share logins. You must have a lawful basis and the necessary rights and consents for any personal data you enter about third parties, for example tenants and vendors.

Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may remove content or suspend or terminate access, with or without notice, where we reasonably believe use violates this policy, the Terms, or the law, or is causing harm to the service, other customers, or third parties. We will use reasonable judgment and, where practical, give notice and an opportunity to cure.

Reporting
